Agreement and use

By using utilopdf you agree to these terms. The tools are free, and you may use them for lawful purposes only.

Files are your responsibility

You choose what to process. You are responsible for those files and for having the right to work on them. Because the tools run on your device, the developer never sees your files.

Check before you send

Treat a result as a draft until you have read it. A conversion rebuilds a document from page positions, text recognition can misread a word, and a redacted file deserves a second look for anything you meant to hide. Keep the original, and ask whoever receives the document what they accept.

Sign PDF places a picture of a signature. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, so for a document that legally needs one, use the method the recipient names. A password set with Protect PDF cannot be recovered by the developer.

No warranty

The tools are offered as they are. Nothing here promises error-free results, uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on responsibility

Where the law allows, the developer carries no responsibility for lost or damaged files, for a document the recipient turns down, or for any other loss that follows from using the site.

Changes to the site and the terms

Tools can be altered, added or withdrawn at any time, and these terms may be revised. The ‘Last updated’ line under the page heading shows when the terms last changed.

Which law governs

The law of the Republic of Korea governs these terms.
